“Breach House Rhyll” is a stunning resort-style double-storey family home, opposite the sparkling waters of Rhyll and just steps from the epic playground, pier and boat ramp. Breach House is inspired by the grandeur of the whales that breach nearby. Just a comfortable walk from a great local café, Rhyll general store & the famous Rhyll fish & chip shop, and a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this incredible home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The long central Hallway provides access to Bedroom 2 which features a WIR and ensuite (with shower, toilet & heat lamps), Bedroom 3 (with WIR), Bedroom 4 (with BIR), a Bathroom (with bath, shower & double vanity) and a separate Toilet. There is internal access from the Garage and a Laundry (with washing machine & clothes rack). The rear Lounge (with 65" smart TV, massage chair, table tennis table & a selection of board games) provides a lovely additional space to relax, and flows out to the rear Outdoor Living Area.
Upstairs is the open plan Kitchen (with butlers pantry) and enormous Dining/Living Room (with 65" smart TV & Chromecast) that has incredible water views and flows seamlessly through stacker doors to the upstairs Balcony. Also on this floor is Bedroom 1 which features a WIR and huge ensuite (with bath, double vanity, a separate toilet & heat lamps), plus another separate Toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The upstairs fully covered Balcony (with ceiling mounted heaters and luxurious hotel-inspired day beds) provides stunning 180 degree uninterrupted panoramic water views of the Churchill Island Marine National Park. The ground floor front covered Porch features an amazing 6-person Sauna, 5-person electric-heated spa and a cold plunge bath, all adjacent to delighful firepit with seating area and an outdoor hot/cold shower. The rear Outdoor Living (with seating for 6 people), overlooks the large sun-filled fully enclosed grassy backyard which is perfect for children. The Double Garage (with Mennekes Type 2 EV charger & 4 x sea kayaks) has space for 1 car, with parking for 2 more vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway, and additional parking on the street.
Please note there are security cameras at the home that do not view any private areas.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and 5-burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The entire home is perfectly serviced by a zoned, ducted heating & cooling system that keeps the home delightfully cool in Summer and cozy in Winter. There is also a firepit in the front yard (some wood provided to get you started).
Bedding Configuration
This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 11 guests:
Master (Upstairs): One King bed & one cot (in WIR)
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): Two sets of Single bunks
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
