Some of our favourite parts of the Atherton tables are, taking a refreshing swim at lake Eacham; having a cup of tea in the famous tea house at lake Barrine; a coffee and breakfast at Gilles cafe; visiting the large curtain fig; walking along the scenic Peterson creek in Yungaburra (maybe even spotting a platypus); tasting cheese and chocolate from Gallo’s Dairy Farm and cuddling their gorgeous poddy calves and experiencing first hand how they milk the cows; sipping on mango wines at Golden Drop Winery; enjoying an ice cream at Shaylee's Strawberry Farm and dining in at so many great restaurants; pubs and cafes, all within a short drive.
