The Space:
The A charming Snug House @ Lower Snug is flooded with light and warmth this architecturally designed home is both stunningly beautiful yet brilliantly functional and would suit a family wishing to immerse themselves in the casual laid back lifestyle.
The well-appointed kitchen adjoins the open plan living and is stacked full of excellence, with plenty of storage, quality appliances, and contemporary finishes. The house is very family friendly, we have a basketball court, children's books and board games. The upstairs and downstairs living rooms are all equipped with smart TV able to access Netflix and Youtube.
For everything else, Snug has its own IGA, gourmet butcher, and convenience store stocking fresh produce, groceries, delicious treats, and all other goodies. Enjoy a delicious meal at the Snug Tavern or Phoenix Chinese Restaurant. Stroll along the peaceful Snug River and Snug Beach where you can observe the local birds and wildlife as well as uninterrupted views of North West Bay and Bruny Island. Make use of the free beachside BBQs and Tennis Court or pack a picnic and cross the footbridge to the sandstone cliffs and enjoy the vista.
Our place is surrounded by nature, a haven for birds and wallabies. Tranquility in abundance. Huon Valley and the beautiful town of Cygnet are both within easy reach and the Bruny Island ferry port is only 5 minutes away. 5 minutes to Snug Beach, 2 minutes to Coningham beach, 5 minutes to Snug Falls, and many other nearby attractions waiting for your exploration.
House has heat pumps but we also have a wood fire heater with plenty of timber stocked to keep you warm during the wintertime.
