The Space:
Mount Schank Tiny House is located at the foot of the heritage-listed geologic monument of Mount Schank, a 100 metres high dormant volcano nestled amongst stunning natural scenery, towering gum trees, and native wildlife to keep you company. Little Blue Lake, Limestone Coast Pantry, and towns like Cape Northumberland and Port Macdonnell are just a few of the nearby attractions in the area.
A comfortable off-grid accommodation with a queen-sized bed in the loft, a couch on the ground floor, and all the modern amenities you need. All with a well-stocked kitchenette with cooking tools and cutlery, a portable electric cooler fridge, and a toasty pot-bellied stove to keep your bellies warm.
The bathroom includes a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use. Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings. Please take note that this tiny house is an off-grid unit that runs on solar energy, and we highly recommend guests save energy for the entire stay.
We would like to advise guests to stay on the designated walking paths given that other areas are not well-maintained and may pose safety risks. There is an approximate 250-meter walk from the car park to the tiny house. This walk might be considered a fair hike, and we want to ensure guests are prepared for it beforehand.

By car:
It will take about 5 hours to travel to Adelaide or Melbourne from our property. We're about 15 minutes by car from Mount Gambier, South Australia's second largest city. You do not need special 4WD to access our property.
By public transport:
We're about 15 minutes by car from Mount Gambier, South Australia's second largest city. There are taxi services available but there may be a wait and they may be costly.

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Children are not allowed due to safety risk as the loft has no railings going down the stairs.
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
