Summary: The room was well appointed and the hotel position ideal, but we paid top dollars for a room in a luxury resort in the Queensland summer only to find it had NO AIRCON! Furthermore as the room was located at the rear of the building and we needed to leave the windows wide open or suffocate in the humidity, the 6.30 rubbish collection that went on outside our window for 1/2 an hour for each of the 3 mornings we were there was not at all welcome. This was all made a little worse by the fact that photos of the room show an air con unit, and there is, in fact, an aircon in the unit. It has just been disconnected by the owners. In fairness, they did supply one pedestal fan. It was a very big unit.
