Offering absolute waterfront luxury accommodation, Goolwa Spa & River Retreat provides a beautifully appointed two bedroom home set on 22 acres with superb river frontage in a rural setting at Torrumbarry near Echuca on the Murray River. River levels are maintained by Torrumbarry Weir therefore water sports can be enjoyed all year round. This is a skiing, wake boarding and fishing paradise. There is a floating jetty to tie your boat up to or throw a fishing line in. We offer a two bedroom house which is fully self contained, with outdoor spa, king sized bed in the main bedroom, two single beds which can be pushed together as a king bed, large bathroom and separate barbeque area. Our accommodation is fitted with Home Entertainment Unit, surround sound and LCD T.V's. There is also a Home Cinema with LED projector and 3 metre x 2 metre drop down screen. The interior is well cooled and heated with a coonara fireplace and a large deck. There is a large country style kitchen, separate dining area and lounge room, the perfect place for a secluded getaway to Echuca. Enjoy breakfast in the surrounds of the Murray Forest, sit on the jetty or stroll along the river track. Goolwa Spa & River Retreat can be a family or friends getaway on the Murray River. It is the perfect setting for a family or friends wishing to get away from the pressure of the city and want to spend some quality time together in a luxury rural setting away from it all. Minimum stay - 2 nights, 3 nights on long weekends including Boxing Day weekend and New Year's Day weekend and 4 on Melbourne Cup weekend and Easter. Location Goolwa Spa & River Retreat is located approx 300 klm's from Melbourne's CBD off the Murray Valley Hwy. We are only approx. 20 minute drive from Echuca so you can browse the Historic Port of Echuca and enjoy a ride on a paddlesteamer or play a game of golf at Rich River Golf Club. Bring your own boat and do a trip to the Torrumbarry Weir or meander your way along the great Murray River up to the Deep Creek Marina. There is a boat ramp approx 500 metres from the property. Mooring 100 metres from accommodation. Interested in trying to catch the elusive Murray Cod and don't have your own boat, then we have a fishing boat for hire (boat licence required). Our accommodation is not suitable for pets as we have stock and our own dog.
