Wooden floorboards, leather couches, original art, and a discreetly positioned flatscreen TV… are a few of our guest’s favorite things.
Outside you’ll find extensive landscaped gardens that the owners permaculturalist friends helped create. And from the orchard to the kitchen garden, they’re all yours to feast on.
There are multiple spaces for al fresco dining and inside/outside dinner parties, where views over the hills and a fluffy gang of adopted alpacas are best enjoyed as the sun sets and stars come out. Stay warm by the brazier, or get the full-sized smoker happening!
One of the features people love most is the separate wellness shack: an onsite gym that includes a rowing machine, weight machines, a ballet bar, medicine balls, a professional treadmill, free weights, plus a big wooden deck for pilates or yoga. It’s nice to stay healthy on holidays.
Daylesford Homestead is situated next to another rental property on the same title called Marnies Loft. Although separate and obscured by gardens and grape vines, Daylesford Homestead can be rented together with Marnies Loft to sleep 10 in total under the name The Estate.
Please note that the owners of Daylesford Homestead live onsite in a separate dwelling from time to time when not travelling the globe. Your every privacy is assured with a separate drive and entrance to their residence.
