The 4.5-room chalet house from the 16th century is located in the historic village centre of the beautiful chalet village of Ringgenberg with a view of the Schynige Platte and the former minstrel's castle and today's castle church, on whose organ Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy already played.
The chalet is in a quiet and sunny location with a beautiful view of the mountains and is five minutes by train, bus or car from Interlaken. It is very comfortably furnished and is suitable for 4 adults or 2 adults and three children. (Third bedroom is a connecting room).
It is within short walking distance of restaurants and grocery shops and public transport.
The Chalet Gruebenhuus was inhabited by my grandparents and so I have been spending weekends and holidays here in Ringgenberg with my husband and our dog for many years and we always discover something new!
During the week we live and work in Zurich. We rent out our chalet a few times a year. We are happy when others also live in our chalet and enjoy it. We are always available to answer questions by phone. We have neighbours and friends on site who are available if necessary. Check-in is flexible and takes place via a key box. Note: The Brünig line runs in front of the house. A small train passes through 4 times an hour (but not at night). It doesn't make much noise and only lasts about 5 seconds. Railway fans are always delighted, as a steam locomotive also passes by from time to time.
