Bidwell is a peaceful country retreat in the heart of Daylesford, set privately at the back of a leafy garden allotment on a quiet no-through-road that leads down to Lake Daylesford. It is very close to the famous Amazing Mill Markets antiques emporium, and within walking distance of both the Lake and Daylesford’s main street with its shops, restaurants and cafes.
The cottage has a woodburning heater with complimentary firewood supplied for your first night in the cottage. A powerful new split-system air conditioner has recently been installed. As well as the queen-size bed in the bedroom, there is a double sofa bed in the lounge. Free WiFi is provided, as well as the Netflix and Stan streaming services on the smart TV.
The long west-facing deck has outdoor seating and a gas barbecue. There is ample on-site parking available.
Pets are very welcome at Bidwell Cottage, including inside the house. The garden is securely fenced. We ask that dogs do not go on sofas or beds; if you can't prevent this, please bring along your own blankets/throws to protect our furnishings.
