Original 1960s Barwon Heads beach shack, stylishly renovated, situated in a quiet location yet close walking distance to everything. Comfortably accommodates 6 people. Property includes three generous sized, light filled bedrooms, two bathrooms inside, 1 further bathrooms accessible from the garden, fully equipped European kitchen and laundry.
The backyard has a small bungalow. While not suitable for sleeping, it does have a basic, separate, third bathroom (toilet and shower) which can be handy for larger groups.
The property faces north, allowing you to take full advantage of the living and dining space with large glass sliding doors opening onto a large deck and outdoor entertainment area complete with undercover BBQ area and kitchen server window.
Double glazed windows, wood fire in the lounge room, and reverse cycle air conditioning provide warmth for the cooler months while fans, air conditioning and fresh evening breezes provide absolute comfort for the warmer summer months.
Relax, sleep or read a good book from the library while lying in the hammock under the shade of the trees. The kids and dogs can play safely in the fenced yard or the conveniently located playground, skate park and nature reserve at the end of the street.
Enjoy a short stroll to the Barwon River and beaches, golf course, boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants or bring your bikes and go for a ride. (Bikes can also be hired locally).

We are a pet friendly property - please notify at time of booking.
Our property is fenced with 7 foot timber fences on 3 sides, and front fence standing at approx. 1m high and a gate that can be closed across the driveway. We don’t recommend that active pets are left alone in the yard if you aren’t home. House trained pets can be left inside for shorter periods.

New owners Rebecca and David are committed to continuing the style, quality and authentic, laid back Barwon Heads experience that our previous guests have enjoyed so much. During COVID we, like other owners, are taking additional precautions. All linen is professionally laundered, there are cleaners, wipes and hand wash available for use during your stay, and all surfaces will have been disinfected prior to your arrival.
