Black swans, pelicans, and dolphins regularly pass by the front of the house. You may find a koala on a local walk, or simply enjoy the mangroves at the end of the beach. There are multiple spaces to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Complementary use of a kayak, stand up paddle board, and ping pong table. Pets welcome. Linens provided.
Foreshore Bliss is an architect-designed beach house with breath-taking views of Port Stephens from every room. Absolute waterfront location provides direct access to the golden sands and calm waters of Salamander Bay. Built in 2019, the house incorporates the charm of an original beach cottage with up-to-date modern luxury.
The home sleeps 8 guests in four separate bedrooms and has been designed to maximise the flow between indoor and outdoor living. There is plenty of space to be enjoyed by all with an open-plan living and dining space opening bayside. There are indoor and outdoor dining sets and lounges for relaxing, a fully-equipped kitchen, and LPG BBQ for you to grill next to the beach. All areas are decorated with quality furnishings and beds are made for your arrival, so that you can spend more time enjoying your home away from home.
First floor you will find:
- 2 x lounge rooms, one with a daybed and L-shaped lounge, one with a lounge and 2 recliners, smart TV and X-box 360
- separate powder room
- open-plan kitchen, breakfast bar, and dining table (appliances include Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge)
- 1 queen bedroom with a leather recliner, open wardrobe, and small deck with wicker chairs, opening onto the interior courtyard

- side deck with 2nd BBQ, which is a gourmet Blumenthal Everdure with spit roast and charcoal with electric boost

Children are always welcome, but please note that there are multiple stairs throughout the house, and we do not consider the house appropriate for toddlers. We do not have child gates installed. A portacot is available, but we do not supply linens for it, so please bring your own if required..
Pets are also welcome, but we ask that you do not allow them on the beds or furniture and clean up after them daily. There is an interior courtyard, but it is not fully fenced. Please do not leave animals on the premises unattended. There is a pet fee of $150 per stay.
NO NOISE - The house is located in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Please respect the neighbours with minimal noise after dark.

Port Stephens has 26 beaches and each is different. Salamander Bay is a sheltered bay, linking to Wanda Beach (also sheltered) and Soldiers Point via a series of beaches. These are perfect for families and fishing. A short drive away are the surf beaches of Birubi Beach in Anna Bay, One Mile, and Fingal Bay, all with surf life saving clubs, and the ore remote Samurai (4WD only) and Zenith.
Outstanding snorkelling is found at Fly Point-Halifax Park Aquatic Reserve in Nelso Bay, where you may spot turtles, groupers, wobbegong and octopus. Further afield there are scuba diving spots, with two dive shops in Nelson Bay. During whale season (between May and November), whales can be spotted from Boat Harbour and Fingal Bay, with whale watching cruises departing from Nelson Bay.
The birdlife of Port Stephens is also amazing and there are resident koalas. There are many options for bushwalking, including the Tomaree Head summit walk and the coastal walk through Tomaree National Park. The dunes of Anna Bay and One Mile are also spectacular.
